In collaboration with local farmers, we're dedicated to repurposing unused farm waste, such as oat hulls, soybean hulls, and hemp stalks. Our commitment to providing GMO-free products is coupled with our ongoing pursuit of organic certification.

Our co-founder, Thomas Lodge, a passionate botanist and mycologist, honed his mycology expertise at Cal Poly Humboldt. His studies led him from the jungles of Guyana to the caves of Southeast Asia in search of new mushroom species. Returning to the Midwest in 2019, Thomas met Zach Zientek at the Toledo Farmer’s Market, marking the inception of our mission to bring fresh mushrooms to Toledo and its surroundings.

When the opportunity arose to relocate from downtown Toledo to a more expansive facility in Woodville, we seized the chance to not only enhance our space but also upgrade our technology. This expansion ensures that we can provide top-notch substrate and mushrooms to our ever-growing community.

Cultivated in our 13,000 sq ft warehouse, we proudly offer fresh spawn and ready-to-fruit blocks to mushroom farmers and enthusiasts of all skill levels. From within the confines of our state-of-the-art mycelium lab, we produce exceptional mushroom starts, ready to be spread into the community, empowering individuals to take control of their food and adaptogen sources.

We hope to build on the movement where each person is a steward of their well-being, fostering a profound appreciation for the food and medicine they consume.
